  1. RHIALTO THE MARVELLOUS 5 - A black ink and gray pencil drawing on an 11 x 14 size vellum paper. It appears in the book, "Rhialto the Marvellous" by Jack Vance.

There is a high probability that if ten illustrators were given this same story to illustrate, none of them would have selected this same specific scene to illustrate that I did. And if by chance they did, their drawings would not have the exact same viewpoint as mine.

In this story, the girl is imprisoned inside a cage made of wooden bars. By using magical powers she causes the cage to explode in order to free herself. - Let's pretend that you are the illustrator, you have the choice of creating the scene and the viepoint.

Obviously, there are quite a few scenic viewpoints imaginable, and you have to make a decision on which one to illustrate. But hold on, it's not the only decision you will have to make, you have to be prepared to make a hudred or so more decisions before your drawing is finished. Because "art" is all about making decisions .

    Desideratum 3:
In this infinite universe where I live, there is only one intelligence.
I am completely receptive to the abundant flow of intelligence that the universe offers me.
I trust that out of this universal intelligence I will learn what I need to know to make the right decisions at the right time, in the right place.
